Authentically Me!

As a young mother, I did what I had to do - work to survive!

Unfortunately, I was not able to finish school at that time. But, was fortunate to be hired at one of the Top Five Canadian Financial Institutions, which I had pursued my career in the banking industry. After 13 years of experience working in the financial sector and with a passion for learning, I was ready to embark a new journey. Returning to school was one of my most rewarding yet challenging decision ever made.

I had completed the Interior Decorating Program at Humber College in April of 2018. Through this program, I was able to further explore my interests in design and adapt new skills.

Following graduation, I continued to further my education and completed the Event Management Post-Graduate Certificate program at Seneca College in 2019. During that summer, my children and I had experienced our very first volunteer role at Toronto's Buskerfest for Epilepsy. It was at that moment, when I had realized it was these types of events where I felt the desire to be a part of in making a difference to help save a soul. And so, I had enrolled in the Fundraising Management Post-Graduate Certificate program at Humber College and completed it in 2020. Halfway through completing the Fundraising Management program, I had challenged myself and accomplished another certificate of Project Management at University of Toronto, Continuing Studies.

Through my combination of work experiences, education, and volunteering, I have had the opportunity to hone my skills and acquiring new knowledge, enabling me to leverage my expertise to help communities in need.

Helping teams create and implement integrated strategies that deliver unique human experiences and authentic narratives that win hearts and minds is what truly motivates me to be a better version of myself.

With my desire to help others, I am deeply committed to be a catalyst for change focusing on local communities and around the world.
